The Special Ministries program within Livingston County Catholic Charities will be provided though the virtual events through Dec. 31, 2020. We are taking reservations for our Annual Christmas Celebration. Reservations required. Contact Amanda at email@example.com to reserve your spot and ensure we are able to provide you with all the supplies for the fun activities planned!
For the protection of our seniors and staff, we remain actively providing assistance to seniors through our Community Liaison program (formerly Resource Advocates) over the phone (in person only if necessary to obtain signatures/proofs for applications for essential services i.e. health care coverage / food support; delivery of essential items, and more). Much can be done over the phone to assist: low income applications, Medicare info and enrollments, connect to resources, info on Long term Care options, census reporting, Home Heating Tax Credits and Property Tax Credits, prescription assistance and more. Call Melodie or Beth for assistance at 517-545-5944.
COVID-19 NEED – Grocery Delivery Drivers Needed for Seniors – Due to the tremendous need that we are experiencing from our vulnerable population, seniors, we are in need of additional drivers to pick up grocery orders and deliver to the front porch of senior’s homes. Also of note is that our Volunteer Caregiver program is still providing transportation to doctor appointments, friendly phone visits and more for home-bound seniors. Call Katie or Jamie today at 517-545-5944 to see how you can help!
